Grill Masters Club (June) Review: A BBQ Subscription Box for the Pitmaster in You

Looking for a fun way to try new BBQ flavors or the perfect gift for the grill lover in your life? I recently got my hands on the Grill Masters Club subscription box, and in this post, I’ll be sharing my honest, unsponsored review of the June box.

First Impressions

My wife surprised me with a 3-month subscription to Grill Masters Club for Father’s Day — and as someone who’s always experimenting with smoking and grilling, I was excited to dive into something new.

I hadn’t really seen a BBQ-themed subscription box before, but the idea made total sense. Each month, you get a variety of grilling products, from rubs and sauces to wood chips and recipes to try them out with.

Unfortunately, my first box arrived with a cracked jar of horseradish that leaked slightly. Not ideal, but I reached out to their customer support — and this is where Grill Masters Club really impressed me. Not only did they respond quickly, but they also sent an entire replacement box, not just the damaged item. That level of service won me over immediately.

What’s Inside the June Box?

The June box came with five products plus a recipe card:

A hot horseradish
A spice rub
A BBQ sauce
A unique recipe featuring the rub and horseradish
A small bag of wood chips for smoking

I was most excited to try the hot horseradish. I’ve been on a hot honey kick lately, so the idea of adding spicy, sharp heat to grilled meat was right up my alley. The recipe that came with the box used both the rub and horseradish on a flank steak, and I have to say — it turned out fantastic. Super flavorful and tender.
